Software Developers (multiple positions)
Consilient's mobile advertising software won the top Mobile Innovation Award in Macau, Asia. We're looking for top developers who are interested in building mobile applications for some of the hottest brands including Pizza Hut, Nike and Pepsi. Minimum requirements are a Bachelor of Computer Science with solid OOP/OOD and software design abilities. Positions are available on our Mobile Application and Web Development teams.

- Solid Java programming skills
- Background in object-oriented design
- Eclipse IDE is an asset

QA Specialist
Reporting to the Manager of Quality Assurance, this full-time position is primarily a software-testing role, working with an integrated team of developers, product managers, and product integration specialists. The primary objective for this candidate will be to drive the testing process through development and execution of test cases, including but not limited to functional, compliance, longevity, and regression testing, and to follow-up corrective actions through the defect-tracking database. The candidate will work with Consilient's wireless and server software, and any other custom software produced during joint development projects or for internal use.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the entire software development life cycle from initial business requirements to deployment & production support
- Design & implement test plans & cases (with focus on functional and compliance testing)
- Create & implement test tools & scripts for test automation and reporting (with focus on regression, performance, stress, and longevity testing)
- Ensure quality of software through performance test benchmarking
- Provide production support of software products by investigating and recreating reported defects
- Work with multiple database interfaces and be familiar with standard web architectures
- Train and mentor other analysts in testing methodology and the software development life cycle
- Assist in implementation of QA standards and continual improvement activities
Qualifications
Knowledge:
Education and Experience
- B.S. in Engineering or Computer Science
- Practical working knowledge of software testing methodology
- Experience with wireless software
- 2+ years experience in software testing and quality assurance
Technical Skills Recommended
- Experience with mail protocols (IMAP4, POP3, SMTP, etc)
- Solaris

- Microsoft Office
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong interpersonal skills
